GOOD NEWS!

Jesus said…

“I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in Me will live, even though he dies; and whoever lives and believes in me will never die. Do you believe this?”

Jesus did what He said…

“On the first day of the week, very early in the morning, the women took the spices they had prepared and went to the tomb. They found the stone rolled away from the tomb, but when they entered, they did not find the body of the Lord Jesus. While they were wondering about this, suddenly two men in clothes that gleamed like lightning stood beside them. In their fright the women bowed down with their faces to the ground, but the men said to them, ‘Why do you look for the living among the dead? He is not here, He is risen!’”

The disciples believed what He said…

“By this gospel you are saved…that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures, that He was buried, that He was raised on the third day according to the scriptures, but if it is preached that Christ has been raised from the dead, how can some of you say that there is no resurrection of the dead? If there is no resurrection of the dead, then not even Christ has been raised. But Christ has indeed been raised from the dead…”

Our response to what Jesus said…

“Believe in the Lord Jesus and you will be saved.”

Believe that:

• God loves you. John 3:16
• All have sinned. Romans 3:23
• All deserve to die and be separated from God. Romans 6:23
• Jesus paid the penalty for your sins.

Romans 5:8

• Jesus arose from the dead… He is Lord.

Romans 10:9

• If you turn from your sins to Jesus and ask Him, He will give you the free gift of eternal life. Romans 10:9, 10 & 13
