Welcome To VEFC Impact Groups
Our desire is that through our small group ministry, we can encourage one other in the pursuit of holiness and Christ-likeness to a deeper maturity in Christ (Colossians 1:28). This is where genuine fellowship, Biblical application, and personal use of our spiritual gifts are experienced personally on a weekly basis.
C. J. Mahaney in Why Small Groups said, “Knowledge without application is lifeless. In order to be transformed, we must apply and practice the truth of God’s Word in daily life (James 1:22-25; 1 Corinthians 8:1-3). The Church is God’s intended context for change. God never intended for us to live isolated from or independent of other Christians. Through committed participation in the local Church, we find instruction, encouragement, correction, and opportunities to press on toward maturity in Christ (Romans 12:5).”
We hope you will get connected to one of our weekly Small Groups which meet in various homes throughout Visalia or to one of our Adult Sunday Morning Classes which are available on Sunday Mornings for both hours.
Our Impact Group Shepherds meet quarterly for instruction, accountability, and encouragement to be trained to lead and shepherd their groups more effectively.
