Missions at VEFC
Jesus said to “go and make disciples of all the nations.” From the very beginning of the Visalia Evangelical Free Church this command of Jesus has been central to our ministry. In 1981 we took on the support of two missionary families. Today our mission program has grown to more than twenty-five foreign, US, and local missionary individuals, families, and agencies, several of which are from our own church family.
Jesus said, “ the harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few. Therefore, pray to the Lord of the harvest to send out workers into His harvest.” At VEFC we want to be in the harvest fields, here in our own community and around the earth, praying and working until the Lord comes again.
