At VEFC we desire to practice Paul’s words in his letter to the Ephesians…be filled with the Spirit, speaking to one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord. (Eph. 5:18a – 19)
In our worship services at VEFC we utilize a broad range of music to sing praise to God. Century old hymns are often sung back to back with the most current worship songs. On most Sundays a group consisting of vocalists and several instruments ( guitar, keyboard/piano, bass, drums/percussion, flute, saxophone, and even on occasion – harmonica) help lead us in our worship to the Lord.
VEFC is also blessed with an adult and a children’s choir, both of which meet each week to prepare songs to enhance our worship services.
