Loving God, One Another and The World
When you step onto our campus at the corner of Main and Giddings, we hope that you notice a variety of things. There is a wonderful assortment of young children, teens, adults, and senior citizens, and you will see them all interacting with one another. Some will be heading to a worship service, whereas others will be scurrying off to one of the many adult or children’s classes in the education wing. The little ones will be cared for in our nursery. As you walk into the Worship Center, you will hear a beautiful balance of hymns and contemporary music, along with a message from the Word of God. You will see a group of people who care deeply for one another. If you were to walk through the classrooms, you would see some classes focusing on the basics while others dig a little bit deeper. There are programs for children and adults during both service times.
The two services at 8:30 and 10:30 are identical, with a half hour break in between when you can grab a snack, a hot drink, and a conversation with a friend. We are people just like you – we enjoy our families, we like having a good time, we live with the “ups and downs” of life, and sometimes we wonder about the future. We haven’t figured out all of the answers, but we’ve found that a life of commitment and trust in Jesus Christ is the key to a fulfilling and satisfying life.
You may notice our motto: “Loving God, One Another, and The World.” It won’t take long for you to see that we take that motto seriously. We gather in groups throughout the week (Impact Groups) for learning, times of prayer, and for fellowship, and we are also committed to both local and overseas missions. Also, helping others through Biblical counseling has been an integral part of our church since it was established thirty years ago. You will find much more information about these ministries on our website – we hope you can take some time to check out whatever may interest you.
If you have questions while you are here, come by the “Information Booth” in the courtyard and we’ve got some volunteers that can help you find your way around. You can expect to find people throughout our campus that are warm and welcoming. To repeat our motto, we desire to “love God, one another, and the world” – and we would love the opportunity to have you come and join us as we do just that.
